Each Gnosis gem is freshly handcrafted every day in our cozy NYC kitchen by holistic health coach Vanessa aka Chocolate Girl and her Mamma Wonka, Aida. We are so honored to craft chocolates for you and your beloveds since we opened in 2008! Now that’s Passion!

All ingredients are raw, vegan, and certified organic or wildcrafted - free of refined sugar, soy, gluten, dairy, peanuts, GMO, and artificial colors.

Just as a prism reveals the rainbow hidden within white light, we invite your devotion to the full spectrum (or palate, if you will) of Love. When Valentine’s Day is deeply considered, it becomes less a narrow celebration of romance and more an invitation to honor these infinite shades of loving, and the many ways they are felt, expressed, and transformed. In our diagram and indeed in each creation in our Aphrodisiac and Sweethearts Collections, cacao is the language of the heart vocalized through seeds and saps, roots and resins, botanicals, bitters, berries, and blossoms.

Through our process of botanical alchemy, the resulting creations speak of rooted, ancestral love. Of patience and devotion. TRUFFLE-BARS

Our truffle-style bars have become very popular - thick, satisfying, and nourishing. Shells of 70% cacao are freshly filled by hand in micro batches, like all our creations.

We’ve been infusing botanicals and medicinal mushrooms into heirloom cacao since 2008. The Olmecs started in 1500BC! The roots of chocolate… with a Gnosis Twist.

Gnosis has always been at the forefront of innovation in natural sweeteners. We were among the first to craft chocolate with agave, then pioneered the use of pure stevia without fillers, and were the first to launch coconut sugar sweetened chocolate to the U.S. market.
