Derived from the Danish word, “hüga,” “hygge” is translated as  “the art of creating intimacy,” “coziness of the soul,” “cozy togetherness,” and my personal favorite, “cocoa by candlelight.” Hygge is about creating an atmosphere and experience. A feeling of home… wherever you may be.
